Is LoamAura just an app?
No. The app is part of the product, but the first LoamAura release is a physical raised bed kit with a garden sensor, solar panel, battery, and basic assembly pieces.
What comes in the starter kit?
The starter kit includes an outdoor raised bed, a smart soil sensor, solar power, a rechargeable battery, outdoor electronics, weatherproof cabling, basic mounting and assembly hardware, a setup QR, and app setup support.
What is not included in the kit?
Plan to provide soil, compost, seeds or live plants, garden tools, irrigation hardware, and any installation labor unless a future bundle says otherwise.
What gardens is LoamAura built for?
LoamAura is focused on home gardeners with raised beds, patios, and backyard growing spaces who want simple guidance for everyday growing.
Does the garden device need to be plugged in?
The outdoor device uses a solar panel and rechargeable battery so it can live near the garden without a normal wall outlet.
Does LoamAura use local weather?
Yes. Local weather helps the app make garden reminders feel more practical for rain, heat, cold, and seasonal changes.
Can I use the app without the kit?
You can review setup guidance and product information before hardware setup, but live readings, device health, weather-aware care, and personalized recommendations depend on a LoamAura device checking in.
Why does setup ask for Wi-Fi and location?
Wi-Fi lets the garden device send readings after setup. Garden location lets LoamAura use local weather, USDA zone details, heat, cold, rain, and planting guidance. Support diagnostics do not include Wi-Fi passwords.
How does Plus work with the kit?
Each smart raised bed kit includes 3 months of LoamAura Plus. After that, Plus is $12.99/month or $119/year if you choose to continue. Basic access keeps setup, latest readings, device health, recent check-ins, plant records, and harvest logging available.
Is pricing available?
